Event Overview

 
Competence frameworks are increasingly recognised as strategic tools for defining professional roles and assessing performance across organisations. In the context of Work Package 11’s activities to develop a common employment framework for ERIC staff, this event brings together representatives from EIRO Forum Research Infrastructures and ERICs to share experiences on implementing these frameworks.
 
Participants will explore different approaches, implementation levels, and company values to identify competence gaps and growth opportunities.
 
The event addresses key objectives, including exchanging knowledge on the benefits of competence frameworks, assessing their complexity and feasibility for ERICs, discussing ways to enhance staff mobility through harmonisation, and laying the groundwork for adopting frameworks such as RMComp to help define a grading system.
 
This exchange will inform ongoing work within the ERIC Forum 2 project, specifically Work Package 11, which aims to define guidelines for a European employment contract for ERIC staff.
 
Participation is strongly encouraged for staff, managers, and directors from ERICs and ERICs-to-be, along with colleagues from EIROForum organisations.
